Frequently asked questions

Can you fit a standard strap on the Casio G-Shock 6900?

No, the bracelet is integrated into the case and the attachment is proprietary. A universal strap won't fit. What I do in the atelier is build a made-to-measure strap directly onto the geometry of your case, respecting Casio's original architecture.

How exactly does the made-to-measure strap work for this model?

You come to Casati Milano by appointment. I take measurements directly from the case, study the hidden attachment point, and build a strap that sits stably and reversibly. No guesswork.

Which material do you recommend for the G-Shock 6900?

I prefer Italian military Cordura or high-density vulcanised rubber. This watch was built to take extreme shocks: it deserves a strap that doesn't cut corners. The refined aesthetic comes second, once you know it actually holds.

How long does a well-made strap last?

Depends on the material and how you use it. Cordura lasts years, ages well, and dries quickly. Vulcanised rubber even longer. With care — clean it now and then, don't let it rot damp — it'll serve you 3-5 years hard, then starts a new cycle.

Why did the G-Shock 6900 become the choice of soldiers and athletes?

Because it works. Asymmetric design, triple display, shock resistance: not vanity, it's geometry in service of function. In the '90s it redefined what an indestructible watch meant. Decades later, that philosophy still isn't outdated.

The next step

The right strap isn't chosen. It is built, together.
