No. The Rouleaux bracelet is integrated directly into the case: there is no standard lug to attach an off-the-shelf strap. The attachment is proprietary, engineered specifically for that bracelet and nothing else. At the atelier I build every interface to measure, on the actual watch, millimetre by millimetre.

I work exclusively through <a href="/pages/casati-booking">Casati Milano</a>, by appointment at Via XX Settembre 15 in Milan. I take the watch to the bench, measure directly from the case, and craft the interface by hand before cutting any leather. I do not quote remotely: this kind of work requires the watch to be in front of me.

For this model I almost always choose Mississippi Alligator. The scale structure holds up well against the sporting character of the case, without looking out of place next to the rose gold. Premium Barenia is a solid alternative if you want something that ages in a more lived-in way, building a patina over time.

With ordinary care — drying it after contact with sweat, not leaving it bent — a quality leather strap lasts five, even eight years. Alligator is more resilient than most bovine leathers, and it gains character over time rather than deteriorating. Replacing it is not a failure: it is the moment you choose to start again with something even more personal.

It means Breitling designed and manufactures the B01 calibre internally, without sourcing the movement from external suppliers. For me that carries real weight: it means the mechanical tolerances are conceived in harmony with the whole architecture of the watch. It is one of the reasons I treat this model with the same care I give to watches with a much longer heritage.
