No. The bracelet is integrated into the case with a proprietary oval attachment: a standard strap simply cannot be fitted, it is physically impossible. At the atelier I build the strap directly on the watch, shaping every curve by hand.

I work by appointment only at <a href="/pages/casati-booking">Casati Milano</a>, at Via XX Settembre 15 in Milan. I bring the watch to the bench, take measurements directly from the case and build the strap respecting the elliptical geometry of the attachment. There are no templates: every piece starts from scratch.

I lean towards antique pink Mississippi alligator. The natural grain complements the sculptural surfaces of the case without overpowering them, and the warm tone pairs with the pink gold in a quiet, understated way. Swift in powder pink is a good alternative for those who prefer a softer, more everyday reading.

With basic care — keeping it away from prolonged water exposure and letting it breathe between wears — a quality leather strap lasts five to eight years. Alligator ages with character: the creases that form over time tell the story of use rather than hiding it. Replacing a strap is also a chance to give the watch a fresh personality.

The asymmetric oval case and off-centred dial are not decorative afterthoughts: they are the very structure of the design. The complication visible through the lateral aperture of the case presents the movement as part of the composition, not something to be concealed. I have seen very few watches where form and mechanics are so deliberately intertwined.
