In my experience as a craftsman, waffle refers to a surface texture that resembles a waffle grid, featuring a geometric pattern of raised squares. I use this finish on rubber and silicone straps to enhance grip and provide a distinctive sporty appearance. The waffle texture serves both aesthetic and functional purposes, offering improved breathability and comfort during extended wear.
