Definition
DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) is an ultra-resistant coating I apply to metal components to provide extreme hardness and a distinctive matte black appearance. In my experience, this carbon-based finish offers superior scratch resistance compared to traditional steel, making it ideal for sports and tactical watches. I consider it one of the most significant innovations in modern watch finishing.
