Bund strap
Definition
A bund is a military-style watch strap featuring a protective pad on the back that isolates the wrist from the watch caseback. In my experience crafting these pieces, this design originated in German aviation circles in the 1970s and provides superior comfort and protection, especially with metal casebacks. I create bund straps using thick yet supple leathers to ensure maximum functionality while maintaining sophisticated aesthetics.
