Not all rubber is created equal. This one is 100% biodegradable: the same resistance as a traditional elastomer, with a radically different environmental impact. A technical choice even before an aesthetic one.
The grey chosen for this version does not seek visibility. It complements the Apple Watch without overpowering it, with a sober presence that works just as well on the wrist during a run as it does at the dinner table. The colouring is achieved with pigments compatible with the biodegradable nature of the material — so slight variations from the images are an intrinsic part of the process, not a defect.
The lug is designed to integrate directly with the original Apple Watch pins: no adapters, no modifications. You attach it and forget about it — until you want to change it.
Worn all day, the bio-rubber yields just enough to the wrist without losing its shape. It doesn't absorb sweat, doesn't stiffen in the cold, and doesn't degrade in the sun as quickly as leather. It's a material designed to be used, not stored.
